I'm Carla, a Certified Public Accountant with  Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
        I prepare people's taxes and calm their anxiety, but can't lift my own glass of water.  This form of Muscular Dystrophy limits virtually all movement.   I can operate my computer with ONE finger on a touch pad. 
And …..that's about it !
One of my needs seemed simple enough- to take a sip of water when I wanted.
        I could not find a drinking straw long enough or stable enough to let me drink independently, so I designed one!  - With the help of some very talented and creative people I now have a LONG DRINKING STRAW and HOLDER and I gained a little independence. 
         Along the way ....  I discovered many other useful products that were hard to find.
        NOW I am able to offer to others these very special, unique products that actually work. 
 Examples of these are in the photo

    *  27-inch flexible LONG DRINKING STRAW, (you cut it with scissors to just the right length)
    * SIPPER CLIP to hold the straw in the glass.
    * Adjustable DRINKHOLDER - has a special suction pad base that prevents tipping over.
